Klong Nin is on the west coast of Ko Lanta Yai, with a wide beach facing the Andaman Sea. Ko Lanta Yai has nine beaches along its west coast, and the sun sets over the water. Klong Nin has a mix of small resorts, bars and restaurants, and a relaxed pace.
It is farther down the island than Saladan, so a car makes a big difference with luggage. Other beaches, shops and the national park are within easy reach by scooter or taxi. The island is long and narrow, so distances add up.
